School Based Healthcare
Students perform better when they attend class healthy and ready to learn. Yet too often students are missing school because they are sick or experiencing mental distress and don't have the health care they need to get better. One of the best ways to ensure students are getting the health care they need to stay in class and grow up healthy is to bring the "doctor's office" into the school.
Cenpatico School Products recognizes the importance of school-aged children having timely access to quality physical and behavioral health care services and are committed to working with school corporations/districts, medical and behavioral health care providers, and community organizations to further the development and enhancement of school-based health care services.
Our goal is to offer an integrated model of physical and behavioral healthcare services for children and their families in a school-based setting. We have a vested interest in developing comprehensive, integrated School-Based Health Centers, which requires the co-location and collaboration of both physical and behavioral health care providers on school grounds. In using this model, we believe it enables the opportunity for increased coordination of services across the health care continuum of care, with the goal of ensuring a more comprehensive treatment plan by addressing the multiple needs (preventive and primary) of school-aged children.
